Crimea is and will remain part of Ukraine.

12 years ago today, a sham referendum took place in the Ukrainian peninsula. Russia’s “little green men” had invaded Ukrainian territory just weeks earlier. And Russia didn’t stop after the annexation of Crimea.

It was just a step for Putin on the way to launching a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

Reminder:
The EU does not recognise the annexation of Crimea.
Sanctions on Russia and support for Ukraine must continue.

Comparing different funding tools is simply not appropriate.
