When winter first begins to bite
and stones crack in the frosty night, when pools are black and trees are bare, 'tis evil in the Wild to fare.
- J.R.R.Tolkien

How someone treats a rat, a pigeon, a "pest", that's who they really are. Kindness that only extends to the cute and the loved isn't kindness. It's convenience.

The Amur Leopard is hunted for its beautiful coat, while its habitat is being destroyed by human development.

Fewer than 130-150 are believed to remain in the wild and is the most endangered big cat on Earth 😢.

“I wish it need not have happened in my time,” said Frodo.

“So do I,” said Gandalf, “and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”

Well done Greece 🇬🇷.

Greece banned tourists over 220 pounds from riding Santorini donkeys. New rules cap loads at 220 pounds or one-fifth of the donkey’s weight. Violators face fines up to €30,000 to protect animal welfare.

Tourists, #DontBuyATicket 🎟️!
