"Considerations on restrictive relative clauses and adjunction in Modern Italian and Portuguese and Standard German" ๐ฅณ

Do people offer "lets talk about soccer in German" lessons for interested fans?
Am I already too late to that party? Touristy topics might help fans as well as a big bunch of them is travelling through Germany and just now realizes that not everybody speaks English here. ๐
@AnnaCramling Pia is like "it's important to have a good breakfast, a coffee, water to drink" before a match. We get the amazing GM analysis and some great mum content, too ๐
Btw, if you read this, have you had enough water already today? All your meds taken? Go, get it! This app won't go.
The youtube comments are right. Hikaru quite literally used a Uno reverse card on Levy by commenting on his chess match.
Having one of the best players of the world comment your game.... sounds terrifying ๐ง๐
I also love how Pia Cramling does live comments on the matches of @AnnaCramling ๐ฅณ I love Anna's content and how she explains chess stuff. Having her GM mum commenting her game is amazing!
@schenior Oh, yes! I was actually thinking about a book out of cheese as a material... rather than a book about cheese! ๐
Reading a book about cheese doesn't sound like the worst idea ๐
@schenior Omg, I've just read "book of cheese" and was so confused about you not mentioning the whole context of having a literal book of cheese!
Good luck with the block of cheese though๐ญ
Somewhere along the way, for me, the cold, soulless "networking" got replaced by "making friends and hyping their work up to anyone who would listen," and I gotta be honest, I'm loving this.
Listened to @Josh_Prada's keynote talk at the Forum Junge Romanistik 2024 yesterday in Hamburg. It had a huge effect on my way of thinking about language and language teaching.
P.S.: Not even my mum could stop me talking about the talk until almost midnight ๐ #fjr24 /1
ยกMuchas gracias @Josh_Prada por el keynote. :)
I was telling people that I needed to put that talk into a bag and take it out of the bag whenever I needed people to listen to those words ๐๐ฌ

I'm very glad that I was able to participate in Christoph Hornung's workshop (@c_hornung) about Open Access in Romance Studies today at the Forum Junge Romanistik 2024 in Hamburg. #fjr24
Danke fรผr den super Workshop!

@xposivibesx People keep saying how valuable computer skills and linguistics skills together are... and when you show up at exactly that interface... "oh, we didn't mean it like that" ๐คธโโ๏ธ
