Very sensible suggestion and observation on PSR. It used to be known as ‘Fair’ but now it is fundamentally unfair as it preserves the established few and has now made young players the victims. I wonder if the City ruling will define what the future should be?

Given how dull the group stages of the #EURO2024 has been I think they should introduce some #BGT style gimmicks to add some excitement. Golden buzzer for best skill = straight to final. Boring football - 4 red Xs. Would have saved us the pain of #ENG progress!!

I’ve been a big Southgate fan for 8-years but today I gave up. Even though we’re winning 2-1 this is just dreadful. Like watching any Adam Sandler film, It’s a long, turgid watch for one decent moment. I’m not in the slightest bit invested. #dull #ENG #ohanthonygordon

Headline contradicts the quotes. This isn’t Trippier defying management. The bigger question is whether he’s past his peak. I think we need to be balanced in assessing his worth. He was leading the back five and keeping his peers on it. That’s the trippier I love. #NUFC

@ashby_tim However…we’re capable of achieving top 4/winning it in 3-5 yrs. We have to expect more, buy better and call time when players have peaked. Fergie was a master at that. Sooner or later Trippier, Wilson, Ritchie, Dummett, Almiron, Lascelles, Krafth, Targett, Dubs go

@ashby_tim I agree. Such a talisman for our team reinvention. I think coaching will suit him. Wednesday was a devastating defeat but I’d swap it for the last 15 years of expecting us to lose, hoping we’d find some decent free transfers and seeing 10th as a decent season

…but time is catching up on Trippier. Before I judge him though I think ‘rusty’ is perhaps the benefit of the doubt he deserves. If Bayern came back with another offer I think it may be worth cashing in.
