Last week at The Marton Academy, we held a special assembly to celebrate the amazing life of Queen Elizabeth II.
Our Marton Museum stands proud, which currently holds the children’s work based around the Queens Jubilee.

We have a new arrival in our Year 1/2 class! Unfortunately, after much waiting, it hatched at the weekend. A nice welcome on Monday morning though 😀 🐥

Y3/4 had an excellent trip to Queen Elizabeth’s High School to visit their STEM Fair today. We have enjoyed some fantastic experiences with Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths - lots of aspiring scientists of the future! @QueenElizHigh #STEMeducation

Y1/2 took a trip to RAF Scampton and we’re lucky enough to see the Red Arrows! They have been learning about the history of flight and the Wright Brothers in topic. They also painted their own planes! An excellent day out! Thank you @RAFScampton @rafredarrows

We are so proud of our Y3/4 pupils who completed their Arts Awards with Mrs Lucking last term! Mrs Lucking received some fantastic feedback about the children’s portfolios. Well done everyone! @ArtsAward
