Pat Moore, a star player for the Santa Rosa Lions, holds the state record for rebounds in a season (702) in the 1973 season. The book expected to be available to the public by mid-May. I want this book to be a collectible. This has been a challenging time wise to finish the book.
The PayPal issue is resolved... the first official order was placed by big man, 6’8” Pat Moore. Thus, go to the Shop page https://t.co/WzcR8Odnc1 & place your order for the book and/or website subscription. Special with no sales tax & free shipping on all pre-orders until 4/30.
I continue working on my book “Game for the Ages” about the history of NM high school boy basketball. I am also working on a website that I and other basketball historians can share their research.
I hope to have it go live next week. I am excited to share it with you!

@CoachJimenezCHS Nate is one of the best all-around players that I had with Danny Granger/D1 Ambassador AAU Club in 13 years. He does all the little things that helps a team win. He is very athletic and great team player. Best prospect in NM.
It saddens me to share that the 2019 New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame inductee & NMSU basketball star Jimmy Collins passed away this morning. He was excited to be inducted into the NMSHOF. He was excited to come to the Induction Banquet. Unfortunately, we had to reschedule it.
Thanks to Steve Davis, owner of Proview Networks on doing an interview with me. I was able to share my journey on writing a book on the 100-year history of NM high school boys basketball. I updated status of the book. https://t.co/goxlRHIOjx
Here is a story last night by Van Tate on Frank Castillo's retirement as the head basketball coach at La Cueva HS. Yes, I double checked yesterday with Frank that he was no longer coaching. https://t.co/3ljJYuJqrw

The New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame board have postponed due to COVID-19, the Induction Celebration Weekend events-47th Annual Induction Banquet on April 5th & the 5th Annual Charity Golf Classic presented by Galles Chevrolet on April 4th. We are working to reschedule the events.
Because of the coronavirus & directive from the Governor & Mayor, the New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame leadership is having to postpone the Induction Celebration Weekend events - 47th Annual Induction Banquet on April 5th and the 5th Annual Charity Golf Classic on April 4th.
5A’s first round games ended with the NM Top 8 teams in MaxPrep rankings winning. No upsets. It will be great to see top guards like Gonzalo Carbalan(Las Cruces),Ricky Lujan (Onate),TJ Sanchez (Capital),Cruz Martinez(Santa Fe),Dion Battle(Volcano Vista) & Evan Gonzales(Cleveland)
With that all in mind …can Onate, Capital, Roswell or any of the top 8 teams with the lowest strength of schedule win State this year…the answer Is “YES”. There are a lot of very good team but not one dominating team. After today, everyone is 0-0 … good luck to all the teams.
