With more than a tinge of sadness, here’s my list
1 Television- Marquee Moon
2 REM - Murmur
3 Blue Nile - Walk Across the Rooftops
4 The La’s
5 Lloyd Cole - Rattlesnakes
Thanks for all the polls Rich. Great fun, always.

@BSdeResistance @TimSmith2021 One of the most startling examples of Bob swimming against the tide. Although he had all that time in the Basement to prepare the ground

[Martyn Pass @MartynPass]

@TimSmith2021 Never Say Goodbye. Short, but brilliant

[Martyn Pass @MartynPass]

@AnEarful @RichardS7370 Totally agree, but it’s Viva Hate, not Bona Drag

[Martyn Pass @MartynPass]

@kev0rka @96Liverbird William Gomes?

[Martyn Pass @MartynPass]

@JohnnyBorgan One of the very best of the Series - and least expected to be so

[Martyn Pass @MartynPass]

@t0mbstoneblues Aging, but great acting

[Martyn Pass @MartynPass]

@benclaywolf Cheers Ben. Been hoping for this one , one day - and the rain itself now!

[Martyn Pass @MartynPass]

@labourlewis This would be revolutionary. Well done you and @AdrianRamsay. I’m guessing you’ve both read Robert Macfarlane’s ‘Is A River Alive?’? If not, you should. Best of luck with this

[Martyn Pass @MartynPass]

@CriticalWax Probably. Sheer number of quality tracks. The Kinks could maybe give it a run for its money - if such a compilation existed. Which it doesn’t 😁

[Martyn Pass @MartynPass]

@si_rix Odd, isn’t it?

[Martyn Pass @MartynPass]

@si_rix Okay. Just curious. Thanks

[Martyn Pass @MartynPass]

@TimSmith2021 First album (by anyone) I ever bought, on its release 56 years ago - and still great

[Martyn Pass @MartynPass]

@RichardS7370 Sterling work Richard. Don’t think I’ve had a #1 before. Not surprising as I tend to be temperamentally against going for the popular choices 😄 Obviously there really is a first time for everything. Cheers

[Martyn Pass @MartynPass]

@kennylanglea @batcountry1980 Is that Ridiculous Bill?😁

[Martyn Pass @MartynPass]

@RichardS7370 Hi Rich,

@drofidnas @young1economist Exactly . I hate them

[Martyn Pass @MartynPass]

@batcountry1980 Have watched each of the 4 series at least 5 times. Great comedy, great company, with a melancholy edge. Wonderful

[Martyn Pass @MartynPass]

@english_stee @AlanBrownSNP Despicable choice of words - in both cases. Shameful
