Someone explain the Oscars this year:
-2 men had an “inclusive” frisking on stage
-We had a New Orleans Gospel Choir with dancing for the sad In Memoriam of those who passed away
-Will Smith punched someone live, and won the Oscar for best actor 10 minutes later

@ESPNCFB I’m so happy to watch the Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, Notre Dame, Miami and UCF hype video, considering Ohio State, OU, Texas and a bunch of other teams were barely shown. Someone who isn’t biased should’ve made the video.
Today I had a conversation with Bob Long, Senior Pastor of @StLukesOKC and not only was the conversation helpful, but it was very inspirational. He is truly one of the most driven people when it comes to loving others.
@mallykay8 What if your destination changes? Like you could be going to like Miami but you stop on the way to Disney world which becomes a different location
If we look deep into ourselves we find brokenness, pain, and sadness. However it is broken people that Christ uses to bless the world. Use the Joy of Christ to mend the broken pieces in ourselves so that we can also bless the lives of others with the gifts that God gives us.
The problem with Christians is that many believe that a commitment to Christ is an ending to struggles. However by being a Christian one might face even more struggles. Yet, with Christ we are able to become stronger than our problems when we follow his message of love.
The biggest lie of life is when we live a double life. We live a church life and then a separate life. We constantly distance ourselves from Christ when we aren’t in a church presence. Focus on living one life, with the mindset of Christ in all that you do.
Sometimes you have to leave the good times to move on to better times. Don’t stay focused on the past, but instead be in the present and that will allow you to be prepared for the future.
Don’t just read the words of Christ in church or in the Bible, but instead speak to Christ so that he can speak to you. Don’t just live your church life in church but live it throughout your days and years, sharing God’s love and being the person God calls you to be everyday.
Most people are scared of things they are used to. Oklahomans seem to be afraid even though most never see a tornado in person. Christians fear death even though Christ has defeated it. Why are we afraid when we know the truth about life? Don’t be blind to fear but stand up to it
On this day 23 years ago, 168 Oklahomans lost their lives. Today, we remember those killed, those who survived, & those changed forever. We continue to be proud of the Oklahoma Standard with which we responded. And we commit to teaching the lessons of April 19th. #WeRemember
April 19, 1995 started out as any other day. It was relatively quiet, until 9:02 A.M. when Timothy McVeigh detonated a truck bomb outside the Murrah Building. In that moment the world was changed forever. Take time to remember those lost and those changed forever 23 years ago.
The Prodigal Son is one of the most famous parables in the Bible. Jesus ends before saying if the older son goes in to rejoice his brother. The ending of the story is up to the listener. Will you in the party and rejoice the lost son? Will you go and bless the lost in the world?
Change defines who we are. Not how we change but how we act during change. Throughout change if you focus on God and what is right, you can help share God’s love and bring hope to the world.
Names create a deeper meaning on who we are as people. Christ has a name of love and peace. Martin Luther and MLK JR both had a name of determination that would change the world. All these names and more got their meaning from actions they did. What will you name mean?
