how are we scaling the polkadot "L1" (L0??)

we're using a novel solution - unique to polkadot (as far as i know!) - and simply move all polkadot features to a polkadot native/enshrined rollup; all polkadot rollups share the same economic security as the relay chain, so this is possible

it brings faster blocktimes, greater throughput and more TPS for polkadot users - and doesn't stop there

polkadot rollups also have decentralized sequencers, maintaining censorship resistance while not sacrificing security (one rollup on polkadot currently has 46 sequencers!)

smart contracts will now be able to directly control other features of polkadot such as governance and staking - BIG opportunities for bleeding edge, innovative mechanisms here!
