@AlbaMemoriam@Arctiq_@SadlyItsBradley Not all syscalls are supported on android like SYSV IPC, breaking X11 and Xorg functionality. Also a bunch of other issues with file system layout mismatches
Running Steam via Linux distros like Rocknix (built around controllers) should give way better performance
@TimTrashGoblin@SadlyItsBradley You already can install steam with big picture mode on Retroid handhelds with Rocknix its actually rather easy to install. The entire distro is build around navigating with a controller.

@SadlyItsBradley Never forget, Meta tried buying Unity to block other VR headsets from having native VR support, their anti competitive business practices are a large part of what killed VR.
@SadlyItsBradley Original Kickstarter backer and VR modder here.
I never liked the direction VR went down even since Facebook got involved and bought up all patents and studios in existence just to do nothing with them. I hope now VR can finally go back to how it was in the open good old days.
After creating the VR mod for Suwako-chan Cubic the original developer reached out to me and we started working on a (free) official Steam port of the game with VR support!
The store page is already live, please check it out and add it to your wish list!

@PalmerLuckey I am porting the DK1 classic Suwako-chan Cubic to Steam. You liked the demo back in the day and I wanted to ask if it would be alright to quote you on the store page?
"I love it. Bullet hell game mechanics in three dimensions is awesome."

Marulu & Streetcat have brought back a beloved bullethell DK2 classic Suwako-Chan Cubic to modern headsets and better than ever with full 6DOF support.
P.S. If you're a Resident Evil fan, look out for another super exciting announcement later today 👀
@JShodanVR@Flat2VR There is a tool called LibOVRWrapper that ports SDK 0.6 and higher games to the Oculus PC API (deprecated for OpenXR) which can be chained into Revive to make them work in Steam VR.
Sadly this leaves even older games like Suwako-Chan (SDK 4 beta) unplayable on modern headsets.
