@ChrisRackauckas Is there any component library of the Fluid system modeling based on ModelingToolkit.jl? Or any other specific domain modeling example? Right now, the examples in the document are more like prototypes.
@brugard @WolframResearch Thanks a lot. I notice that there is some algorithm added automatically in the BLT form, it includes some variables named "$dynState.set*", I guess it is because state dynamic selection is used during the simulation, is there any document about this variable or this algorithm?
@brugard @WolframResearch It looks like that during the initialization and simulation process, the System Modeler is using two different Structural Indice Matrices, I am not sure why, I think that after the index reduction algorithm, there is already a BLT form of the DAE system, why creating a new one?
I could solve the equation system after using the Pantelide algorithm and getting a BLT form, it seems there is no need to do the partitioning again and use DASSL.
@michael_wetter@LinkedIn Could overseas students apply for the position, such as Chinese students? I mean, is there any consideration about politics or confidentiality? I don't mean to be rude or discriminative, just for precaution.
@brugard @WolframResearch I compare the equation browser of Dymola and System Modeler, it seems that System Modeler is using a different index reduction algorithm other than the classic Pantelides algorithm. Any introduction material about this specific algorithm?
@brugard @WolframResearch I see that. Why is the Modelica.Fluid isolated? Does it need to be treated in a special way? I understand the transportation equation might be hard to solve, but not sure if it is the reason.
@brugard @WolframResearch I plan to use System Modeler to show my students how to do modeling in a Hydraulic system, I couldn't find Modelica.Fluid package, I tried to reinstall the software and reload MSL, but nothing helped. Is this some kind of limitation of the evaluation license?
@brugard @WolframResearch Maybe you could also try to expand the support scope of the existing open-source library, such as Modelica Buildings Library, I am struggling to get it to work on System Modeler.
