@Micah33088 The Lighting and camera system in games are so underappreciated that you can't even notice it as an issue when it's subpar, anything after Sonic Forces for example, which is ironic since the Hedgehog Engine 2 uses real-time lighting.I'll never get why the camera in new games snap๐ง
@PortgasDNewgate @HazzyNaofu You're looking at the THEORETICAL power of the Switch not it's actual power, if you took it's restraints off, making it a home console, giving it enough wattage, overclocking it, THEN it'd be vastly more powerful than the seventh gens, but that's unfortunately not the case ๐
@PortgasDNewgate @HazzyNaofu You're forgetting that the switch is both running on a mobile processor (unlike the Wii U,) AND underclocked to high hell, It ain't a crazy feat you say, yet developers are either deciding that their games should be running at 540p under 30fps OR the hardware isn't up to snuff
@PortgasDNewgate @HazzyNaofu In short, I don't believe publisher's should be charging the same exact price on switch when you're arguably getting a worse experience than if you paid the same price but for the PS5 or Xbox/PC. That's something I'm glad will be realized with the upcoming Switch 2 ๐
@Carls493@TheNCSmaster You can run this on Intel Integrated graphics if you must, the requirements is bare to none since you no longer need to emulate an Xbox 360 GPU , a whole school laptop can run it so not having a powerful enough PC no longer cuts it, all the issue is now is ripping it legally ๐
@supernotfunny18@BTyphoon17@TheSr101@Pocho22059768 The 720 part isn't what makes it HD... The resolution as a whole does, anything below 1280x720 is no longer considered Standard HD, one is creeping closer to SD at that point
@Brobie49@TheInsect_ Yup ๐, in game, that flag belongs to Empire City, a take on New York City of course, and it's represented with that take of the American flag
@honk_mii62624 @DKoala1087 @Brobie49@TheInsect_ I GENUINELY wanted to give them the benefit of thought because DAMN, there's no way one can confuse the two
@SockTiger If people want to make the 2005 cinematic sonic argument and how we've had the same model since, sure, but they've been modifying it past unleashed and Generations and honestly have been modifying it for the absolute worse, ESPECIALLY in forces ๐ญ
@realduskknight @MCPro24@Dexerto@NateTheHate2 Also DLSS ISN'T Frame Generation, it's machine learning upscaling, no additional fake frames are being added, only the up upscaling from native resolution to the projected one (which in itself looks okayish but most can't tell anyways,) just in case you're confusing the two.
@realduskknight @MCPro24@Dexerto@NateTheHate2 It's for sure not even gonna support Frame Generation in the first place, just Upscaling through DLSS and Raytracing. Even if it did, just play on a PC if you want real frames and power, One would expect corners to be cut in order to make a slab of tech run the best it can.
