#ENG296CSR Group 4. I liked being able to see the screens of computers at points during your trailer, it showed examples of students applying technology more than just showing students sitting behind them.
#ENG296CSR Huffingtonpost article from 2012 regarding inequality regarding technology in the classroom. Interesting read regardless of whether you agree or not! https://t.co/RfMEYxTwBM
#ENG296CSR I find using twitter in class to be much easier than general lectures due to how I can instantly express my thoughts. In a lecture, many of my thoughts are often left behind while waiting to be expressed! I am also able to gather/organize my thoughts while typing!
#ENG296CSR Google Drive has influenced my learning due to its compatibility with my learning style. I use it for writing, regardless of whether it’s used for a class or it’s just free writing. I find it easy to relax and type while being able to open many tabs for exploration!
We grew up in an age of evolving technology in the classroom. As @kozlowskik204 stated, it went from computer labs to computer carts to take home computers. In this sense, what do you think is next? @willrich45 #ENG296CSR#MTML
“Helpful but can also be detrimental” quote regarding use of twitter. When considering this we, as future educators, have to consider classroom management regarding technology! It’s a whole new layer. #ENG296CSR
@StroseBean @kgreenejr13 I believe that they are a hinderance, however we still have to understand how much of a technological leap it is for some of them! The digital revolution happened after some of them were educated to be a teacher, they are often trying to learn this all on their own!
@Wayr896 I believe compassion and empathy are required in the edu. field, especially at younger ages. For example, I don’t believe that AI can control a group of rowdy 1st graders. This is also before taking into account special situations such as disabilities, allergies, ect! #ENG296CSR
@StroseBean@Francob210 There are many attributes I wish to have as a teacher, but for now I am keeping an open mind! As a freshman I still have much to learn, I just want to be the best I can be for my students!
@kozlowskik204@Wayr896 Going off personal experience with iPads being used in the classroom, I concur with @kozlowskik204 I have seen them used and abused, but, in more cases than not, they are tools for education!
