In the south alone there is probably 3 different IDSOs to deal with and all pushes blame. I had to go to the school dept Md phoned daily to beg for space. Great system implemented by MEC but lot of loopholes

@Lesufi Good day MEC and Mr Mabona. Can we be updated on the latest progress again please. Circuit Managers and IDSO's not answering calls. Department not helping and schools can't help. Where are we standing on the 659 and 349 students in and Grade 8 and 1 respectively

@Lesufi @Steve_Mabona These numbers is still contradicting to what was shown yesterday. My child is one of those unplaced and there is no progress on that end. Already Loosing out in a day and induction or orientation like other learners has gone through. Because of a failed system.

Not to mention that they have to catch up with a cirriculum that's already been jam packed and attendance that have been halved due to pandemic. I applied on time last year, on the first day online applications opened but my application is still pending. Today the district office told me I must go see @Lesufi personally. What is that?

I stay 2kms from a school and cant be accepted at it because of a failed system. Hope the MEC can advise us what to do??? Concerned parent
