@GramBooming@DiscussingFilm I mean mad hatter can still be obsessive and control people. Being a woman doesn’t prevent her from hypnotizing people. Calling mad hatter the one villain where his gender shouldn’t change is a stretch, him being a guy isnt his most defining feature
@Dazalli@DiscussingFilm I also kinda see where ur coming from. While penguin being a woman didnt hinder her character, it also didn’t make her any more interesting. But for mad hatter, we just have a screenshot right now, so who knows? Maybe the writers will actually do something interesting with her
@Dazalli@DiscussingFilm It’s just the penguin drama back when season 1 dropped. At the end of the day, that penguin was STILL a ruthless mob boss who prioritized power and profit over everything else much like how a lot of people saw with past interpretations. The gender change didn’t hinder that
@Dazalli@DiscussingFilm Not saying that mad hatter’s traits match the gender change, but it’s not like the mad hatter’s defining feature was the fact that he was interpreted as a guy until now. As long as this mad hatter still fits past themes of obsession and control, does his gender really matter?
@mariiboops this is probably unlikely, but will we see any of the other aliens from the original series like Cannonbolt or Upchuck? It’d be awesome to see ur takes on more aliens
@PokeDuelsTikTok MandJTV does a really good job at explaining the many flaws of bdsp and can answer you better than most of the people on this platform
@eveningbtc Every time I question my intelligence I just remind myself that there are people like you that try to justify pedophilia and sex-trafficking
