See you this weekend for church!
SAT 6PM | SUN 9AM & 11AM.
A tender reminder for your heart this week. Whatever you might be facing in your life right now, you don’t have to face it alone.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1 (NIV)
We can’t always fix our circumstances, but we can fix our eyes on God.
And one of the best ways to begin is simply by lifting up gratitude-filled prayers. Each thing we verbalize our thankfulness for is like a stepping stone out of the pit of discouragement in our lives.
Friends, Advent reminds us we are hard-wired with a Jesus-shaped hope. No human relationship, political party, amount of money, or post-pandemic life can fill a Jesus-shaped hope.
Dear friends, let’s gaze-lock on Jesus (Heb. 12:2). In exile, John saw Jesus reigning over all things (Rev.1:9-18). In peril, Stephen saw Jesus standing up for him (Acts 7:54-60). In duress, Paul saw Jesus right beside him (Acts 22:9-11). What a Savior we have.
“He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man. The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who HOPE in HIS MERCY.” Psalm 147:10-11
You are mercy God and you take pleasure in me when I look at You🙌🏼
Some serious freedoms = Worship expressing itself in trust (2 Chron. 20:21); faith expressing itself in love (Gal. 5:6); the Gospel expressing itself in hope (Rom. 15:13); us expressing ourselves in kindness, humility, and gentleness (Col. 3:12)
When we hold onto anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness, we do the devil’s work for him.
But when we let God help us trade anger for kindness, resentment for compassion and bitterness for gentleness... it splits this cold world wide open with the warmth of Jesus.
What fun we had together yesterday at the Fall Festival! We are so grateful to everyone that braved the cold and made it out. What was your favorite part?

SUN 9AM & 11AM CT
We pray for winds of awakening to breathe upon our great nation. We pray for those who feel hopeless and lifeless to be awakened, refreshed, and revived. We ask for Your winds to blow again over death and despair and declare, “Dry bones, LIVE!”
