Already the collegiate record holder in the indoor 5000m and 10,000m, Jane Hedengren of BYU takes down her third collegiate record of her freshman season in the outdoor 5000m with a 14:50.50 performance at Bryan Clay.

U.S. 800m champion and American indoor 800m record holder Roisin Willis has joined Team New Balance Boston and is being coached by Mark Coogan.
She turned professional at the end of 2025 and signed with New Balance ahead of the 2026 indoor season while wrapping up her degree at Stanford.
🗣️ Willis: “I felt that this team really aligned with who I am as an athlete and person. New Balance Boston has a team environment that I can grow in, not only on the track but also as a person. The team values hard work and supporting one another, and I feel this is a place where I can develop into the athlete I want to be in my professional career.”
Willis joins a group that also includes recent signees, including Kimberley May, Shannon Flockhart, Alex Millard and Margot Appleton.
