I asked who she was.
He immediately deleted the screenshot.
Then he said, “Wrong person.”
That answer bothered me more than the message.
So I asked him to send it again.
He refused.
An hour later, the same woman messaged me directly.
She wrote:
“Please don’t tell him I contacted you.”
I stared at the screen.
Then another message appeared.
“I think you deserve to know what he’s been telling me about you.”
I opened the attachment.
It wasn’t a photo.
It was a screenshot of my boyfriend’s conversation with her.
And the first message said:
