“If your masculinity is threatened by our ability to see things outside your purview, then you’ve got an identity problem that won’t be resolved by stomping on our necks and reminding us who’s boss. We see things you can’t because we’ve lived through experiences you haven’t.”
“These women are labeled threats. They’re accused of Marxism. They’re told they’re divisive. They’re categorized as “false teachers.” They’re scrutinized for their appearances.”
“Church, we NEED these women.”

Piper argued that arrogance and abortion are comparably (if not equally) deadly. I think we can denounce arrogance as ungodly without making an assumption that I believe to be totally unsupported by logic. Plus, what if you have TWO arrogant candidates & one supports abortion?
@ashleychuizar You’re describing a patriarchal culture, not Biblical truth. God is authority over all his people. There is no explicit scriptural evidence for that to be “God’s design.”
The Governor has gone from “flatten the curve,” to “testing, tracing and trends,” to today: “feelings.” Without real, complete data he is running out of reasons to justify the continued shut down of our economy and people’s livelihoods. #COVID19#releasethedata
This picture is so ironic. I spent a majority of my homeschool day playing outside while public school kids sat inside of buildings until the middle of the afternoon to only get home and do homework.
Woah.
I just noticed the bizarre cover image used for the Harvard Magazine article.
It shows a sad homeschool child imprisoned in a house while the other kids are outside playing.
Notice the house is made of books, one of them being the Bible 😱👻
The virus is a real threat we should take seriously. But so is China, so is communism, so are arrests of pastors, so is the release of prisoners, so is a completely obliterated economy. And only, like, 2 journalists seem to care about any of these things.
Agreed Mr. Mayor. And for an ambitious politician who associates himself with Christianity to say it's OK to suggest that God smiles on the division of a child into a collection of severed body parts at the hands of an abortionist, has lost all claim to be other than a hypocrite.
Dr. M. O. Owens, Jr was the most gracious, courageous, and joyful pastor I have ever known. @parkwoodonline was the direct beneficiary of his preaching of the Word and pastoral ministry.
Sisters-
Let us not stand for this. Let this not drive us out of our churches, but let this be a reason for us as women, to be active and present in the church, using our voice to protect the vulnerable for the glory of Christ.
