No he did not say this.
The DDF said people, not unions, could be blessed. And that priests CANNOT bless such unions, or do anything that looks like blessing them. In fact, it was emphatically repetitive on that point.
But, you know, its only news. Just tweet the feels, guys.
Oscar Wilde said in one of his plays: “A cynic is a man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing.” It is extraordinarily true; and the answer to most other things that he said.
As the so-called “Respect for Marriage Act” passes into law, listen to arguments made like this one from Alan Keyes and remember we need more arguments like this one being made at the popular level.
Never take your right to vote for granted. Just think of all the people in places like North Korea, Afghanistan, and Maricopa County who don't have that right.
@mlakan@EpochTimes Earth could sustain many times its current human population and the ecosystem would be fine. We definitely don’t have “too many people”.
America, it is said, is suffering from intolerance — it is not. It is suffering from tolerance. Tolerance of right and wrong, truth and error, virtue and evil, Christ and chaos. Our country is not nearly so overrun with the bigoted as it is overrun with the broadminded.
“Ketanji Brown Jackson thanks Barack Obama for first nominating her to be a judge, while standing by Kamala Harris as she speaks about her confirmation to the Supreme Court.” So much for systemic racism.
“[Soviet writers of the lower classes] made the same mistake that revolutionaries continually make: ascribing the vices of the upper class to the class itself and not to humanity as a whole.”

The worst, most ubiquitous, most destructive, most perverse "theory" in schools is not critical race theory. It's gender theory. I've been saying this for many years. Finally I think people are waking up to it.
Fifty years ago Americans would not have stood for this, and it was possible NOT to stand for it, because mothers were home and the child could just be at home (and in fact preschools were not a thing for that reason).
No one wants to hear it, but mothers need to be home.
