@realEstateTrent Best thing we ever did for our kids, especially our son. He is 13 and has been going since age 8, just finished 3rd summer of 7 weeks away. Girls started at age 6 but only do 2 weeks due to summer swim at home. It’s our kids favorite place and they hold on to it all year.
@AlexBerenson Spend one day with my phone free, daily rigorous exercise practicing son and you will believe. He has abnormal frontal lobe brain waves and clear MRI. It’s real.
What kids actually need:
Less therapy, less tech, less diagnosis.
More time outside, exercise, independence, genuine freedom, more time with each other.
Higher expectations for their conduct and achievement.
And a focus on something other than their emotions!
@AConcernedPare2 Eh, I had the same experience in a Westchester NY hospital last June. Once they gave me antiobiotics, it wasn’t an emergency. I spent 3 days getting bumped from the surgery line- no eating.
@brownecfm When I had full blown Lyme disease infection, 105 fevers for 3+ weeks, every latent pathogen was reactivated. Bloodwork showed I was full of EB, and other childhood illnesses. Thankfully full recovery.
@wil_da_beast630 Junior is HS, Long Island suburb. Watched towers fall in the lunch room. All the teachers and students just walked around in a daze after and left.
