Today, we had a surprise (oh no we didn't!!) @MaryEltonHSA kindly funded performances by @ShootingStar_HQ
EYFS/Y1 saw Father Christmas & sang nativity songs. Y2-Y6 watched a funny performance of Dick Whittington! We are grateful to the HSA & Miss Derry for this surprise! 🎭
Y5 are excited to show the final Roman vases/jugs that the children sculpted in Art. The children were tasked with making an Ancient Roman form but to design and decorate with a contemporary/modern pattern. We think they all did brilliantly!

Year One have been making moving pictures as part of their DT work. They investigated a variety of 'pop-up' books to see how they worked. They followed instructions, carefully coloured, cut, folded, glued and assembled their moving pictures.
Y5 have created up-cycled, sustainable Christmas tree decorations. They had to include 3 different stitches - running stitch, blanket stitch & back stitch. They all look amazing! A huge thank you to all the adults who came to help!
As part of their ‘Rivers, Mountains & the Water Cycle’ geography topic, Y5 & 6 went on a river walk around Clevedon to identify river features in our locality. Mr Thurgur led this for us - they all learned so much from his expertise!
