The FTC recently announced that employees at Ring illegally surveilled users, specifically female customers bedroom or bathroom cameras.
Even crazier thing? They have NO WAY of tracking how many people have done this or have access. The noted employee that got caught was only discovered after being reported by another employee.
It’s wild to think we are entering the age where if you have any cameras, even for safety, you have to start assuming you might not be the only one watching…
A reminder: If your elected officials are pontificating outside their direct job responsibilities they are covering for their on the job failures. Tell me again, COA, how we’re saving the planet?
@ashjeanmason I think some people read it as an order. I say “Let me know a few times that work for you and we can schedule a meeting or if it’s easier, use this link to schedule time.” so they can use the link if they want but know I’ll do it the old way if they prefer.
