@LookfantasticCS I’m struggling to get an answer to a missing parcel. Ordered 9.12.24 and never delivered. Christmas presents in it and waiting 24 hours each time I message LF. Please help me
@teachwellall Pay more, sort out the curriculum by valuing the arts in exactly the same way the other subjects are valued, stop academisation, expectation of a work life balance and build into the system with more ppa time.
@Books4forSchool Yes, I was very fulfilled from teaching and now I need to find that in other ways. I laughed all day, and I didn’t realise how silly I was with the kids! The CS is definitely an avenue to pursue if you want challenge at work and a life outside. Lots of opportunities to progress!
@Diddleydooda1 @Books4forSchool To be honest, I looked at jobs and couldn’t understand what they were asking for a lot of the time. I work in a comms role now, so I’m working with stakeholders all the time and it’s very outward facing, that I enjoy. It’s also in the DfE, so still education based.
@ClareHayes82@MichaelT1979@Maffc_GB I’m almost ten years older than you but in complete agreement. At school the food waste was picked up by the ‘pig man’ as well to feed his pigs! We used to get very excited about getting 5p back from the pop man for returning the bottle!
@XpatEducator Feedback isn’t only written though and I can’t see anything on there about verbal comments- for me these have always had the most impact and they are immediate. Perhaps it goes without saying or maybe I’ve missed it?
@Mr_Hayo99 I’ve been through that interview process and it’s exhausting! Senior leader ones that were two days of intensity too….ive left teaching now after 25 years and for my new job I had to write a detailed statement and interview for 25 mins! Much better!
