I came to write a hopeful post about Gaza...

I thought for a while, then I thought some more, and then a little longer. I found myself staring at the wall, staring into the darkness... and thinking about Gaza.

I thought about all the days that have passed, the homes that have been destroyed, the tents, the fear, and the dreams that have been put on hold for far too long.

But even in the midst of all this pain, there is still a child who smiles, a mother trying to create a life out of so little, a father dreaming of a quieter day, and a young person holding on to the belief that tomorrow can be better.

Gaza is tired... yes.
Gaza has been wounded from every direction... yes.
But it has not given up on life.

Maybe optimism today isn't about ignoring the pain.
Real hope is that, despite everything, we can still say:

Tomorrow can be better... and Gaza deserves to live. 🇵🇸❤️
