It was great to attend the Balbriggan Diversity Forums 2nd meeting last night. Inspiring group.
Proud to be part of such an initiative and that Balbriggan are taking the lead on setting such a forum up in Ireland. @THRA_Balbriggan
Great contributions and discussion yesterday with community volunteers and groups in the town on the future of the De Bruns Site.
Since the appointment of award-winning Dublin City-based McCullough Mulvin Architects in May, a series of meetings have taken place locally to inform the design process.
It is envisaged planning permission for the De Bruns site will be sought in 2025, with the project completed in 2028.

🚲 THE EXCITEMENT IS REAL! 🚲
Thanks to the Active Travel team in @Fingalcoco for the support in creating sustainable transportation alternatives to our community.
Some @BleeperActive bikes and our 2km commute to the train station is sorted! 😉
And a heartfelt thank you to @CllrKarenPower for her work & support over the last 5 years.
Your dedication to the green agenda has been crucial as the climate crisis intensifies, posing a significant challenge for Fingal.
Wishing you continued success in your future endeavors.
Balbriggan LEA of @Fingalcoco looks set to be a transfer nightmare to try sort out the final order. No way to know how the final 3 seats will fall once the two outgoing IND Cllrs are elected. They'll have a significant enough surplus too. #LE24
Well done to the Taylor Hill Residents Association for hosting a fantastic @streetfeast get together. Looks like a great turnout, event the sun made an appearance!
A special thanks to Minister for Community Development, Integration and Charities @joefingalgreen, Deputy Mayor of Fingal @CllrGMaguire & all our guests for joining us yesterday.
