The idea that things will never get better is a lie.
We trust in Jesus Christ, the “high priest of good things to come.”
Good things are coming for you.
SpaceX has announced their new Gigasat factory in Bastrop, Texas, which will start producing AI satellites by the end of 2027.
• 1,000+ acres of land owned/under contract
• Over 11 million square feet of building potential
• Solar ingots and wafer, solar cells, and AI sats will also be produced here.
SpaceX AI Satellites are HUGE.
They have a wingspan of 70 meters (229 ft) when deployed.
To put that in perspective, a Boeing 747-8 has a wingspan of 68.4 meters (224.5 ft).
SpaceX has just officially unveiled its AI1 satellite, the first generation of its AI satellite.
Overall Specs:
• 150 kW peak compute payload
• 120 kW average compute payload
• 70 kW per ton
• Compute provider interchangeable
Dimensions:
• Wingspan: 70 meters
• Deployed height: 20 meters
Thermal System:
• 110 m² deployable liquid radiator
• Redundant pumping loops
• Integrated micrometeoroid shielding
• Deployable liquid radiators
Solar Power System:
• 150 kW solar array
• 250 W/m²
• SpaceX-manufactured solar technology from Bastrop, Texas
Architecture:
• Centralized compute module
• Large deployable solar arrays
• Deployable liquid-radiator thermal management system
• AI-focused compute satellite design ("AI1 satellite")
Elon: "The AI satellite is much simpler than a Starlink satellite. The AI satellite is essentially a lot of solar cells, you still need some laser links, but you don't have all of the super complex antennas that you have on a Starlink satellite. The easier one to design for is the AI satellite. It's bigger. A lot of this is technology we've already made with the Starlink V3 satellites."
The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square @TheTabChoir will mark the 250th anniversary of the United States with a special broadcast of “Music and the Spoken Word” on Sunday, July 5, 2026. Phones, watches, doorbells, cars, factories and energy grids are increasingly becoming connected, all collecting and communicating information to be interpreted, analyzed and acted upon.
Noting this trend, Elder Gerrit W. Gong (@GerritWGong) of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will discuss how to safely navigate artificial intelligence in a 60-minute gospel workshop video titled “Faith, Dignity and Human Flourishing: Hearing God’s Voice in an Age of Artificial Intelligence,” available on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

For 160 years, "Nahom" in the Book of Mormon was a name that didn't exist anywhere on Earth.
Joseph Smith dictated it in 1829 — the desert place where Ishmael was buried in 1 Nephi 16:34. The text uses the passive: "the place which was CALLED Nahom." Lehi (a prophet in the BofM) didn't name it. It was already there.
In 1988, German archaeologists excavating the Bar'an Temple at Marib in Yemen recovered three votive altars donated by men of the NHM tribe — dated to the 7th–6th centuries BC. Same name. Same century. Same region.
In Hebrew, NHM means "to comfort." In Arabic, NHM means "to mourn." Both meanings collapse onto the very moment a father-in-law was buried in the wilderness.
How could a 23-year-old farmboy in upstate New York have named an Arabian tribal burial ground in 1829 that wasn't excavated until 1988?
In July, the Church will open 55 new missions to accommodate a growing number of missionaries already called. The addition will bring the total number of missions to 506 and allow missionaries to better support the growing number of congregations worldwide.
“What we are witnessing today is more than growth in numbers,” Elder Dale G. Renlund (@DaleGRenlund) of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles said in a May 2026 social post. “Across the world, missionaries are demonstrating a deep devotion to the Savior and a sincere consecration to His work. An increasing number express that their fundamental reason for serving is their love for Jesus Christ and their desire to join Him in His work — an inspiring reflection of the faith and commitment that characterize today’s missionary force.
“As the work goes forward, this is indeed a joyous and marvelous work and a wonder.”

The City of Newport, Kentucky, is adding four additional @Tesla Model Y police vehicles to its fleet.
The city estimated that its total savings over five years for four Teslas is $148,311. Newport Police Chief Chris Fangman said the Tesla is cheaper and a better product than, say, a more common police vehicle like a Chevy Equinox or Dodge Durango.
The Newport Police Department first added three Tesla Model 3 vehicles in December 2023 and then requested two more in November 2024 after the success of the first three. In January 2025, Newport requested the Tesla Model Y electric vehicle for use, initially in the planning, development and code departments. Then, in June 2025, the commission approved four more Tesla Model Y electric vehicles for its police fleet.
Great to see more Police Departments adding more Teslas in their patrol fleets!

Most people talk about the reasons to doubt Joseph’s calling without ever dealing with the incredible evidence in his favor.
LDS deal with the evidence against him… but do critics ever deal sufficiently with the evidence in his favor?
