1/ There's one night I will remember most when thinking about Nancy Pelosi - the night I watched her single handedly save health care for 20 million Americans.
It was at the first Democratic caucus meeting after Scott Brown won the special Senate election in Massachusetts.
@djrothkopf Jefferson too
In a letter written to James Madison from Paris just after the French Revolution had broken out, Thomas Jefferson argues that any Constitution expires after 19 yrs & must be renewed if it is not to become โan act of force & not of right."

@SteveMoForce@SalesforceAdmns I donโt quite understand why this made me laugh out loud, but it did. Becoming an SF Admin does weird things to a personโฆ
I was invited to give an MLK speech today and a small number of members of the group hosting me wrote and then leaked emails opposing my giving this speech, as it dishonored Dr. King for me to do so. They called me a "discredited activist" "unworthy of such association with King"
Thank you Mike Pence. It was an honor to protect you on January 6. If you could tell the truth for the sake of our country about what led to that day, it would be greatly appreciated.
Right now, thereโs a bill in the Senate that would write Roe v. Wade into law. Letโs not wait any longer. Codify it. Pass the Women's Health Protection Act now.
@Klonick@Hertz Thanks for this Kate. I'm currently fighting a fraudulent charge from @hertz and have that same sense that I want to give my experience visibility because they are undoubtedly doing this sort of thing to others who don't have the time and resources to engage in a dispute.
@hertz has given me no recourse to dispute an incorrect bill. I've filed a fraud report with the FTC. Are there any other tools I can use to defend myself against a giant machine like this?
