@Mrs_Etulain I just watched some prison show (well, Ben was watching it) on Netflix that toured a prison in Sweden or Norway that had a crazy low reoffend rate. Their approach was refreshing and effective ;)

I think I understand how math students feel... I just had our septic inspected. They always insisit in making me look in the tank and tell me how much poop is in there. In this case, it was acceptable but I still didn't want to see it...

I got to visit my new classroom (it has windows!!!!!!) at my new job at Sequoia HS in Everett. I feel incredibly blessed that my experiences so far have led me to a building where the focus is on students who need a little different experience in high school. I cant wait!

@misscalcul8 I always spend period playing card games with them so they at least get to be fimilar with them and have ab experience. Go fish and BS help them think about the numberof cards and solitaire helps with scope and colors and suits.
