@FlightFreeUK @skipedia Another option is to take @BrittanyFerries from Portsmouth to St Malo or Caen as a foot passenger and the train from there. st Malo station is walking distance from the port but Caen is a bus or taxi ride from Ouistreham.

@SimonCalder Self drive is also an option. We’ve booked a DFDS ferry plus an Ibis with secure parking next to an RER station on the edge of Paris but only a few stops from the centre.

@FlightFreeUK Uk internal flights should be taxed properly. However the issue with rail travel vs plane or car are that train fares are way too high particularly if more than one adult travelling and the service is unreliable.
