@discoque92 Agreed with one more category:
4. Those media that are several of these at the same time.
They are “radio” but also work for or are closely affiliated the team (AKA BMitch). They will be team friendly and less objective than if they were strictly radio.
@signulll How come you and several other insightful X accounts have been completely cooked by AI? I’d think smarter guys like yourself would be more immune to this level of debasement but it seems to hit the smart people the hardest.
@GripposKillah@JPFinlayNBCS Mitch is 10x better and more confident on the mic when he’s with Sheehan. It’s because Kevin actually lets him talk and Mitch isn’t constantly worried about JP parsing his words or interrupting him.
@datzoulou@johnmemes@buttercuts_ Getting things approved to send out means “can I tweet this thing out?”
If you’ve ever been that person, you know it’s an intimidating thing when you’re just starting your career.
@wicccsterr He and Bmitch will go on the air today and proceed to agree with each other for 4 hours. They’ll say everything is fine and nothing to worry about.
JP seems like a good human, but he needs to choose one: reporter or commentator.
@johnmemes@buttercuts_ Agree.
My point: it’s not a fun thing to start your career with, even if you have no involvement in the strategy.
My second week of work out of college, I had to send out 2 press releases on very high stakes issues and my hands were sweating. I had no input in the copy.
@rogue_golf@DMVSports4U@Mitch_Tischler I listen to their show and JP plays contrarian and never concedes a point to Mitch. Then on his radio show, he just agrees with BMitch all day long. I like Mitch, just wish JP didn’t talk down to him.
@johnmemes@buttercuts_ She IS the person getting statements approved to send out to an audience of hundreds of thousands of people. From exp. - crisis comms response is not something you wanna be part of in your first few weeks of work.
As far as sharing her linkedin, not condoning that.
@thomloverro Never forget when “free thinker” Thommy suddenly couldn’t think when asked for his thoughts on Nancy Armour and her comparing Caitlin Clark’s flopping to Emmitt Till’s murder.
Listen to the fear in his voice when answering Sheehan “you don’t wanna do this pal” 😂
@LouStagner Lou I’m a big fan of the newsletter and Hack It Out, eta, but these sorts of comments make people think you’re anti-data, or at least anti-good-data.
Why not entertain someone from the other side of the debate? Otherwise, don’t expect to change people’s minds.
@jspuck57@GovWesMoore Lol I know, this is my new burner. And I know you’re not a bot, but your distaste for bipartisanship is exactly what people who hate the US want to see us saying. We gotta work together when we have the chance to agree on SOME things.
@jspuck57@GovWesMoore If I were a Russian disinformation bot created to grow division in the US, I couldn’t think of a more perfect tweet than yours sir. I see in these comments you’re not alone either. Scary stuff!
