Welcome to the Maryland Student Coalition! We’re a student-led education advocacy group pushing for proactive legislation efforts to help ALL students!
After a long hiatus, we’re back to educate, advocate and proactively legislate! We have several new bills that we hope will make it all the way through this year along with a broader coalition to support each one.

Our very first initiative has made a return this year as HB495/SB519! Introduced in 2021 as HB753, the student demonstrations initiative protects public school students who wish to organize and hold a peaceful demonstration on school grounds. #hb495#sb519#studentdemonstrations
