Tessa Mayne and Faye Hornickel competed in the Western Missouri District Optimist Speech contest. They faced tough competition against many high schoolers. Tessa won the western district and will compete at the next level in St. Louis! Well done, ladies! Congratulations, Tessa!

Last Friday, Mrs. Carr took eight talented MMS vocalists to participate in the Missouri Western State University Honor Choir event. These students had a great day learning new music and performing for their parents that evening!
MMS held its 10th annual Leadership Day today. Each year, the students and staff spend the morning showing parents and community members what we have been learning at MMS. Each year, they impress me. Great work, MMS! Thank you to everyone who came to support our students.
