5) Offer something unique.
The best way to stand out in a crowded market is to offer something unique. Don’t just copy other creators. Look at what’s working and iterate on that. Add your own ideas and twists, or mash up multiple ideas that have worked before.
In 2022 after a decade of fascination with YouTube and the privilege of working behind the scenes with some of the most talented content creators. I finally decided to launch my own channel:

Here are some of my takeaways:
4) Tailor your video length to your content
We noticed that 70% of viewers who made it to the 6m mark had a high chance to watch the entire video. Increasing the video length helped our overall AVD. There’s no one size fits all when it comes to video length.
3) Experiment with your videos
Each video is an opportunity to become a better creator. Experiment with new ideas, measure the changes, iterate, and double down on what’s working. If you’re not seeing traction don’t continue creating more videos in a similar style/format.
2) Leverage trends to grow your audience
When starting out, no one cares about you or your content. Jumping on established trends allows you to appeal to an existing audience with a proven content framework. Our first video got over 900k views by leveraging the 100 days trend.
1) Video concepts are more important than thumbnails or titles
Your video concept will drive most of the CTR. If your concept is not interesting to your audience a fancy thumbnail or title won’t help you. We’ll create dozens of thumbnails for ideas before making a single video.
