@Dioclet54046121 I'd treat the AI forecast as unverified, but the mechanism is documented: Treasury's June 2024 designations targeted Hong Kong and UAE front companies tied to Russian gold, not the exchange itself. Expect more entity-level action.
@Austen@SecScottBessent You think that the only thing needed to get to a Fable class frontier model is a few weeks of distillation and post training?
Because that should mean anyone should now be able to distill Kimi K3 ( logprobs and all ) and get a Fable in a few weeks, right?
China is leading the global nuclear race:
China now has 39 nuclear reactors under construction, more than the next 12 countries combined.
This is followed by India and Russia, at 8 and 7, respectively, less than half of China's total combined.
China also has a much younger pipeline of nuclear projects, with reactors currently under construction averaging just ~2.8 years since work began.
By comparison, the global average stands at ~5.8 years, inflated by long-delayed projects, such as India's 22-year construction timeline and Brazil's 16-year timeline.
Meanwhile, the US currently has no large commercial nuclear reactors under construction.
China is building the world's largest pipeline of nuclear reactors.
There it is:
The 10Y Note Yield has officially erased all of its losses since the "Memorandum of Understanding" was signed.
This puts the 10Y Note Yield up to 4.63%, near its highest level since January 2025.
7% mortgage rates in the US are on their way.
@FinanceLancelot 6 years too late? Isn't all leadership expandable now that the US stepped up from Qasem to the Ayatollah and six of his family members?
Out of every dollar the US economy earns, how many cents land in paychecks? Do like to have a lower salary every year ?
51.0 cents as of Q1 2026. That is the lowest in the quarterly records, which go back to 1947. In 1970 it was 58.4.
The reel goes era by era. GDI is the income side of GDP, the same economy counted by who got the money. The 2024 split: 51.9% paychecks, 25.2% operating surplus, 16.5% depreciation, 6.7% production taxes. Since 1970 the paycheck slice gave up 7.4 points. Corporate profits' slice more than doubled, 4.5% to 9.2%. And cash wages fell harder than total comp, 51.6% to 42.0%, because rising health premiums count as pay but never reach your bank account.
Simple share math on the gap: put 1970's slice on today's $31.6T GDI and pay runs about $2.3T higher per year. Across 159M jobs, roughly $14,700 per job, every year.
Also in there: output per hour +160% since 1973 vs real hourly pay +64% (nonfarm business), and union membership down from 20.1% in 1983 to 10.0% in 2025.
@KobeissiLetter Strong demand today doesn't erase the long-term trend. Japan is trimming holdings, China remains far below its peak, and much of the buying is coming from financial hubs rather than sovereign governments.
WSJ: "Washington argues that PIX has become so ubiquitous in Brazil it unfairly disadvantages U.S. payment companies such as Visa and Mastercard."
There are good reasons for tariffs and bad reasons for tariffs, but this has to be among the most foolish.

Last week, Anthony Fauci notified us he will NOT voluntarily testify before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, even though he had previously agreed to do so.
Therefore, today I have issued a subpoena requiring him to testify before the Committee, in public, next month.
