The UFO In Saints Row 2 was supposed to use a unique warp for teleporting in and out of it, to match the 1 of a kind animations it uses. In the final game, it uses the generic blue warp that elevators use.
Many early Saints Row builds have been preserved by The Strong National Museum of Play. Here's a preview of what they have. I plan to steal them from the museum.
@b0xfort@YouTube This dock was in SR1 but you push The Carnales drugs in water on a different dock, from the eastern most dock where brotherhood stronghold takes place where you follow one of their members until you reach it.
@Aldy34267247 Or you can just get back into the car and just drive to the festival via car, making the whole section even more pointless. The chopper bugs out a bit when on road, the bombs explode early most of the time.
I used to wonder why in Saints Row 2's mission "One Man's Junk..." the player has to go to the pier rather than directly to the festival. Turns out there's some incomplete leftover code for this section before it got changed to how it is.
Originally the player were to chase down 2 Ronin boats before they reach the festival, which makes more sense
than going there just to get bombs dropped on by a helicopter.
In Saints Row 1's mission "All The King's Men" there's some leftover code that indicate that there were to be another cutscene between the elevator scene and the scene where Tanya gets blasted out of the window, that involves, King, Player, Johnny, Tanya and 6 hoes, 2 of which are the fat variant.
Additionally at some point in development Tanya had an actual boss battle, that has the 6 hoes involved while Tanya only has a pistol while the hoes has more serious weapons. The battle probably was similar to Dane Vogel boss battle from Saints Row 2 where he gets a few SWAT guys to help him out.
