@DexterSemper@alexmassie@afneil I have never seen the Scottish pound d exchanged for more than a Bank of England note. In addition, many retailers simply refuse to accept Scottish notes abroad(including g Mexico).
@MarkStretford@SamCoatesSky So what is the significance change since May that has led to the Reform ‘fall’. I can’t see the people who voted Reform suddenly voting Labour and Tory.
@afneil Try changing Scottish notes abroad and see how far you get. Most places won’t touch them, and those that do, give an inferior exchange rate to GBP.
@andrew_lilico Does she actively ‘believe’ any of it? When in government she seemed to ‘believe’ the exact opposite? Perhaps she is comfortable with her new ‘beliefs’ knowing that her own back benchers will never back any of it?
@LeeAndersonMP_@reformparty_uk Let’s be honest, these polls don’t really reflect what is happening in the ‘real’ world. All of the major issues, migration, cost of living etc. are actually getting worse. So the question is, where have Labour gained this support and where has the ‘lost’ Reform support gone?!
@aDissentient Don’t forget that many of these cars are also ‘pre registered’ by dealers to meet the government target and then sold with a huge discount. It’s an unsustainable business model.
@TimesRadio@afneil Unfortunately for Kemi, all of the policies she is now touting (leaving the ECHR, net zero etc,) are the exact opposite of what they when in Government.
Also, I don’t understand where the 7% of voters that Reform are supposed to have lost have gone?
@lukerobertblack The whole point of Burhams changes to the triple lock is that it will save money in the future. By anyone’s definition, it must mean that pensioners will receive less than they would have done under the existing triple lock. Therefore pensioners will be ‘worse off’.
