GRADUATION RECAP 2/5
Communication from the University Representative~Dr Rodney Rugyema(@rodneyrugyema )-Deputy Dean of Students -Makerere University
"This is not the end, today you only receive certificates but your actual graduation starts tomorrow….when no one is following up but only you being incharge………"
At the iLEAD Emerging Leaders Graduation, Dr. Rodney didn’t give a goodbye. He gave a blueprint.
To the Class of 2026, his charge was clear:
1. Your learning is for sharing.
What you gained here isn’t meant to stop with you. Teach it. Live it. Be disciples who make disciples.
2.Clarity is a choice.
There is more around you than you see. Slow down. Notice. Purpose hides in the details you overlook.
3.Growth is your responsibility.
Opportunities won’t hunt you. You hunt them. Stay open-minded, because learning never graduates.
Graduates, your certificate is not a finish line. It’s your license to keep learning, keep leading, keep multiplying.
You didn’t just complete a program. You accepted a mission.
Your potential brought you here. Your purpose sends you out.
The world is waiting for your next move.

GRADUATION RECAP 1/5
MESSAGE FROM THE STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE OF THE GRADUATION CLASS COHORT 1 ;KASHIF GEORGE.
George, speaking on behalf of the iLEAD Class of 2026, opened with gratitude and a commitment:
He thanked iLEAD for the opportunity to learn, and the Emerging Leaders Program for creating partnerships that actually work — partnerships that opened doors for growth.
But he didn’t stop at “thank you.” He shared what the journey taught them:
1. Resilience— how to stand when it’s easier to sit.
2. Choices— how decisions, not conditions, shape a leader.
3. Priorities— how to tell the difference between urgent and important.
His pledge to the class was clear: We won’t hoard what we learned.
They’re committed to take these lessons beyond this room — to teach, to share, to reach those who didn’t get a chance to be part of this cohort.
Class of 2026: The assignment now is multiplication.
What you learned here, preach it. Live it. Pass it on.
