@RobJF24@WeAreWST This is great! The thing I’ve been pushing for for a while is continued commentary when the ‘main table’ ends. Often the ‘best’ games aren’t on the main table& it’s frustrating to have snooker on but no commentary. Makes no sense as they must be prepared to do a full sesh anyway.
@steptoessons No. I believe there’s live stuff every day at 1pm and 7pm. With repeats all other times. (That’s as long as there’s live stuff to show of course!!)
Not sure if many other of you are watching the #Snooker on PlutoTV. It’s great to have a bit of interest to watch, but I’d really like the commentators to not talk so much. It’s incessant, every single shot explaining everything. And that’s my thought of the day.
@TeleCricket@BumbleCricket@willis_macp Genuinely I used to think my old man was cynical when I was younger. As I’ve got older I realise it’s world-weary realism at utter incompetence in this world. I mean, who in their right mind created and signed off on that?
A point to add here:
Let’s say it wasn’t a hacking, and I’m not saying it wasn’t, if this was posted in Dubai, I’m sure they have rather stricter rules regarding certain social media content.
Even more reason for Judd’s management team to pull their finger out. I’m sure they are.
Regarding the Judd Trump situation (if indeed it was him and not a hacking), just leave the bloke alone. Seriously, it doesn’t matter does it. He will be feeling rather sheepish to say the least, so just needs to laugh it off. And we should all do the same…
@Limmy05@henrywinter Everything about the way it’s been handled seems unnatural and poor. Okay fine, I’m sure he is sorry and regrets it now, but even the fact the owner’s statement and Eckert statement one after the other feels planned. There is no way it was just those 3 matches. No way.
This is the most reluctant ‘apology’ I’ve seen from a large organisation. Every ‘apology’ comes with a ‘but’, a caveat. Even questioning bias on the panel, but then saying it doesn’t question bias. I can picture exactly the type of decision makers here. Not good. #spygate

@SnookerJudge@_Lina_Marie I thought that about the PR team! And yes, I was torn on commenting… kind of went against what I was saying. But thought I’d add some support rather than anything negative.
@_Lina_Marie Absolutely. Clearly. His PR and management can earn their money here. Basically it will blow over, he can take the jibes with a laugh and it’ll be taken that way. All that being said IF he wasn’t hacked of course!!!!
