@Jay_3shifty Seems like you're the one that hasn't moved on since you felt the need to bring it up. I guess that's what happens when your player misses most of her season. You suddenly feel the need to bring her college career into a WNBA conversation. There's always next year.
@Lisb0n67@featherlicht@veda19999 It's the go to move to throw out the race card with nothing to back up its validity. Says a lot about the person who posted that, especially when her GOAT has had accusations baselessly thrown around before as well. PB also earned her spot and deservedly so.
@sharkiowa@DayDreamThis CC's cult gives her all the flowers she needs. Most don't hate CC, but rather her cult like following. CC is great, but that's not enough for most of her loving fans. They want people to kneel before her and not find any flaws.
@DBGyt_ Wow, Mick made a post that was basically CC free. Now of course he had to go negative on another player and reference the team CC plays for. She didn't quit. She used her power to get what she wanted. Same thing male athletes do all the time. Teams use their power when they can.
@SUNLOVELIGHT@DBGyt_ You can not like her and also not view her as a quitter. She leveraged player power, which in her case she had, to get to a better situation for herself. Male athletes do this all the time. Sometimes players have the power, other times teams do. Indiana went along with it.
@metfan712@AlexiLalas You can't honestly say we had a secure border during the last term? There is plenty to criticize the current administration for, but to say out border was secure under the last administration is laughable.
@PapaDragon331@DayDreamThis The COI is her vested and investment in Unrivaled. She co-owns a competing business. The business itself isn't a conflict, but her in negotiations is. How do we know the claims weren't a lie? They came out after a loss and during CBA stalled talks. It's easy to make accusations.
@cowboyz4life24@CoachKiwi@remysays_ They don't need to. The CBA is going to be based mainly on TV $$$. The disagreement is the split. Let's stop acting like outside a few players and teams that this league is having any real draw. Owners took losses for years. Even if they are profitable now, they need to recoup
@remysays_@CharlieNol80436 According to the players. They don't live in reality. They attack each other, the fans, the refs, the management. They live in a world where they just mouth off and some people like you take them verbatim. People (players) lie. It's a reality of trying to reach a new CBA.
@remysays_ Nor should they since they agreed to it in the previous CBA. The league didn't make that decision, but rather it was reached in partnership with the players. Phee is a problem since her relationship w/Unrivaled represents a COI. She shouldn't be in the room, much less leading it
@ItsCwaysWorld The COI is who is at the table from Unrivaled, not the league itself. If you have a vested and invested interest then you shouldn't be at the table for the new CBA. The league itself and those that started it are great, but they still represent a COI in this case.
@StavrosForever Regardless of the casual fans opinions, you can't just make teams win that don't deserve to win. The games are decided on the court. I'm sure the two teams in the finals will have great attendance, thus the fans are showing up. Maybe TV ratings won't be as high, but who cares.
@pannie317@mikeaalen112735 He's very mad. It stings. At least he fits in with most WNBA players, coaches and fans. Attack and blame. It's the constant narrative. It's the lazy way to analyze the games and everything else.
@DakotaSarcasm@FirstKingJames@mikeaalen112735 The refs didn't decide the series or who won. His point isn't valid when he has Fever in his profile and blames the refs for a team with so many injuries losing to a better team. How about propose a solution to the ref situation instead of just pointing fingers?
@mikeaalen112735 Typical response from someone with Fever in their profile. All excuses. You don't care because your team lost. It's not the how or the why. Blaming refs is so lazy and in poor taste. Negative attacks and blame game is the way of the WNBA players, coaches and fans.
@spryfabulous73@mikeaalen112735 You weren't in the room so you have no idea the truth. Negative speak before CBA talks and throwing unverifiable accusations are the norm. Also, hyperbole happens when you wait weeks or months to complain after a loss. This is all calculated down to the timing of her complaints.
@mikeaalen112735 Why does she need a special whistle? Also, what exactly should Cathy do? Tell the ref association to give her special treatment? That messed with the integrity of the game. CC doesn't need nor deserve special treatment. Her game speaks for itself w/out blaming refs for failures.
@_tylor_3@Allie874 Or maybe she simply didn't say it. Interesting this all comes out following a loss and at a time when CBA talks are slowing, at best. Deflect with a negative attack. It's the oldest move in the playbook. She's just following the attention others get for the same thing.
