@Jaereku This is, unfortunately, a situation where the anime onlies completely mog the novel readers. I basically never see anime onlies treat Subaru like this, they honestly tend to be MORE critical of him than average
@Gnurrgard I think the good part about it is that it adds a lot of starters to your deck in exchange for the bricks, as opposed to the branded cards that add 2 lol
@SnazzyYGO I think it would be good if it pre-empted the damage rather than respond to it. That way it would basically be like, a Watapon for the modern age. Niche but theoretically valuable
@makiiavelli@ravensmakemecut Not particularly relevant. If Tappei cared enough about it he could easily not let him have “free reign”. Clearly he doesn’t care that the design is a certain way
@TELLA_NATSUKI@ravensmakemecut Do you think that people with aphantasia like, literally do not know at all what characters are supposed to look like
Obviously not. He approved of the design
@RichardHannay17 Is there not the option he turns into a successful Gigalib like Mark Carney?
Granted that’s still a win for the left imo (reform will destroy this country) but I also think there’s 3 total options
@Gnurrgard This is the literal only thing that makes these cards hard to slot into decks imo. It’s absurdly low value to have this card in your deck without it being in your opening hand
@AsarathaHS One thing I’ve thought about is that it’s hard to *interpret* re zero without it being based on a lot of theories.
So much of the series is an overarching mystery which could radically change how we perceive things, so how are we meant to actually interpret the story lol
