BLOs told The Hindu that two men claiming to represent the Belagavi City Corporation brought the bulk forms and urged them to sign quickly. Some BLOs said they signed under pressure, others refused or tried to reach supervisors. The men allegedly called someone posing as the ERO to tell the BLOs to sign. The ERO said his name had been used without his authorisation and that he gave no such instruction. When some of the objectors whose details were on the forms were contacted, they confirmed that the names and phone numbers were theirs, but said they had not filled out the applications against anyone.

3. After the incident.. Yaniv Hayun, a Plumber and Dr. Shota Musaev, a dentist steered the plane to safety. Neither had any sort of training in aviation, yet they knew exactly what to do after both the pilots were out.
