Chess prodigy Refilwe Pitso was awarded the prestigious Botswana National Sports Council scholarship last year, allowing her to begin a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics & Computer Science at @TexasTech University, where she also serves as a chess instructor. She flew all the way from the USA back home to compete at the African Championship.
