@sirin_kale @guardiang2 She finally got it about three months in and I breastfed until she was a year old. But what that did to me mentally and what I lost out on is immense. I was bloody minded, determined and stupid.. a great piece.

@sirin_kale @guardiang2 This really resonated with me. I was determined to breastfeed a baby that didn't want to be breastfed. She even ended up in hospital with jaundice, and had to come home on formula (otherwise we were never leaving hospital). But I persisted and persisted, through breast pain..
