Come meet the team behind Snootwafel! We're drawing closer to the completion of the first episode, and these are the people who are hard at work! Snootwafel is super excited, and we hope you are, too!
@Caddicarus I recall seeing your drum cover videos, must have been nearly a decade ago. Maybe one of these days we can work on something together! I hope you're doing well.
@sleepykatsmedia Hi, I saw you were in need of audio work, and I was hoping to get some more info about your project. Would like to chat a bit when you can spare some time!
@amandafortini Going a step further, one of this position might then claim the composition as their own, as with AI art. Telling a machine to mimic another's artistic expression does not make one an owner of said expression.
@JeffereyNerisVA If you're ever ready to put in some extra money, I highly recommend the Shure KSM44! If you can get one used in decent shape, it's absolutely worth your investment!
@MrClay1983 I'm liking the style! I'm happy to hear you're committing to getting stuff done. Best wishes on your project! Reach out if you'd ever like a hand.
@JoeySourlisVo Definitely! Sometimes we may want to add those breaths into certain takes to add character or life into a line. It can always be edited as long as the delivery is good, but you can't deliver properly if you aren't breathing!
@TheUncleAlShow My two go-to recommendations are the SM7B (less expensive) and the KSM44 (pricey, but great). I use both in my studio, and if you use them in tandem, you'll never miss a take due to peaks. The SM7B needs a lot of clean gain though, so a Cloudlifter and phantom power are needed!
It's #indieanimationday and Snootwafel wanted to say hello! Go support your favorite indie artists today, and show all of those wonderful projects some love!
@Egretious Try changing your angle of approach! Angle the mic toward your mouth, but dont vocalize directly at it. Imagine making a triangle, with the mic facing you at a 45 degree angle. Beside that, use a good de-esser / plosive tamer plugin. I hope that helps! Good luck!
