WE believe our athletes are the most crucial component to our program. We are in the business of building competitive softball players to become Elite leaders.
🚨 ATTENTION CURRENT RECRUITING CLASSES 🚨
If recruiting feels slower than you expected… you’re not imagining it.
Many college programs are taking a more cautious approach as they adjust to recent roster and scholarship changes. That has created a challenging environment for many athletes.
Now is NOT the time to wait.
✅ Expand your school list.
✅ Be open to every level.
✅ Reach out to more coaches.
✅ Keep building relationships.
✅ Stay proactive.
The families finding success right now are the ones willing to adjust their strategy—not the ones waiting for the phone to ring.
If you’ve only been focused on a handful of schools, it may be time to widen your search. Your best opportunity could be somewhere you haven’t considered yet.
🥎 Feeling stuck? Let’s build a recruiting plan that fits today’s landscape.
Send me a DM with the word “PLAN” and let’s talk about how to maximize your opportunities before recruiting passes you by.
Don’t let a changing recruiting landscape limit your future.
Adapt. Expand. Get Recruited.
— Coach Jennifer Turner
It was Attack vs Attack. Gray took on White for the championship and pulled it out for a 7-6 win! Congrats to both teams for making it to the championship!
Dear 2029s,
Welcome to your sophomore year. Recruiting may still feel far away, but this is an important year to start building your foundation.
You now have high school grades to share with coaches. Protect your GPA, and make sure your classes meet NCAA core-course requirements. Don’t wait until later to discover you’re missing something.
If you haven’t already, consider taking the SAT or ACT soon. You don’t need a perfect score—you need a baseline and time to improve.
And remember: recruiting is not only about Division I. While D1 coaches cannot personally recruit you yet, coaches at other levels can begin recruiting and building relationships with you now.
Start reaching out. Send emails. Complete questionnaires. Attend camps at schools that truly interest you. Give coaches a chance to learn your name, your game, and your character.
Keep developing. Keep learning. Keep your options open.
You don’t need your future figured out yet, but you should be preparing for it.
You got this.
