@lifeofschneids Celtics could have won another maybe 2 with that core. Not to mention they could have upgraded the roster. They gave very little up to acquire KP and Jrue in retrospect. Assume they could have done with same with other guys.
@Betsycashmoney@lifeofschneids You can’t trade picks years on out can’t take on more salary in a trade can’t use trade exceptions draft picks end up in the later slots in the first round regardless of what your record is. The apron penalties are the main reason why the roster was disbanded
@Betsycashmoney@lifeofschneids If you’re saying that the roster didn’t justify the half a billion dollar tax bill then why didn’t the Celtics try to upgrade the roster to where it would justify the tax bill ?
Jaylen Brown is the most disrespected Boston athlete of my lifetime. If he gets traded it will never sit right by me how media and some fans treated him.
@GlennDOrdway Only way it works is if Giannis forces his way to Boston. He could say I won’t sign an extension with Miami which in turn would make Miami offer less.
@DanLifshatz The amount of disrespect that Jaylen gets pisses me off. One of the best 2 way wings in the NBA. This new CBA cost the Celtics a potential dynasty.
@Savageboston@Section10Pod@Jared_Carrabis Ownership letting a GM fire a well liked and accomplished manager then in turn firing that GM a couple months later is peak Red Sox.
@chestnuthillave@andrewbloodIV@CoachSully6827 “X and Os” they ran flex which isn’t something that is that complicated where it would fall off if an assistant left. Sanders Jackson Trapani were all great players that came to BC after Cooley left. Fans defending the firing of skinner to this day is crazy
@GlobeBobRyan Any comment on Washburns article today ? I bet Donahue Christian and Grant were what you would “hard workers” That did them well in the end.
@chestnuthillave Firing him was a mistake. The smear job that Bob Ryan did on him made the whole situation even worse. AL has a right to be mad even to this day.
@themanmulcahey_ Bill should’ve adopted what the Rams do (near the tail end of the Brady era) and trade first round picks for proven commodities. Pats would have got another ring and bill would still be the hc
