Germany’s Chancellor Merz:
One in six employees in the skilled trades has a foreign passport.
If the people who work in Germany have to leave the country because you put "remigration" on your banner, then the skilled trades in Germany will no longer be able to function.
Not a single nursing home would function anymore. Not a single hospital in Germany would function anymore. Not a single restaurant could continue operating in Germany.
Russian terror on Ukrainian civilians doesn't stop. Every day, there are more attacks, more deaths, injuries, more announcements from businesses that their production facilities or warehouses were destroyed.
Russia is unable to achieve much on the frontlines, so it is trying to destroy Ukrainian economy and demoralize civilians.
◾️Yesterday, Russia killed three people in Sumy and injured 21 more, three of them kids. Four of the injured are in critical condition.
◾️In Kyiv, 17 people were injured by the Russian attacks. The air raid alerts in the capital are long and frequent.

Rescue operations are now underway in various regions of our country following Russian drone strikes. In Sumy, a Russian drone struck near a shopping mall. So far, two people are known to have been killed and fourteen others wounded. A brutal strike on a nine-story apartment building in Kyiv killed one person and injured seven, including two children. The Russians carried out large-scale attacks on Mykolaiv overnight and throughout the morning. Tragically, two people were killed and seven others wounded. My condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed.
Right now, it is important for all partners to focus as much as possible and work on the relevant steps toward de-escalation and an end to the killing. We discussed this both with the U.S. President’s team and with European representatives. If this Russian war continues, all the terrorist attacks and terrorist tactics that Russia is testing in Ukraine – and against which we are seeking and building defenses – could become tools for exerting the same kind of pressure on other countries as well. This is not just about one country. Terror is always a threat to many, and we must counter it together. Thank you to everyone who is truly helping protect lives!
This morning in Kyiv, a Russian drone struck an apartment building. Four people were injured. As always, our rescuers responded swiftly, and the fire has now been extinguished. Last night in the Odesa region, the international Starokozache border crossing with Moldova was hit. Operations there have been suspended. Tragically, two people were killed and three others were injured. Sixteen people were evacuated by rescuers. My condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. Efforts are also underway to deal with the aftermath of the Russian attack in the Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, and Kyiv regions.
Unfortunately, there has been too little response from the international community to these strikes, which are taking people’s lives practically every day. But a response is needed – Moscow must not go into the winter believing that it can get away with missile and drone terror without consequences. The aggression must be stopped here and now, before it spreads any further. And it is important that sanctions and support for Ukraine work effectively toward this goal. The partners who can help know exactly what is needed every day. And I thank everyone who is helping to the best of their ability.
Hundreds of tons of medicines for Ukrainian patients are gone.
russia destroyed a warehouse belonging to Apteka Dobroho Dnia, one of Ukraine’s largest pharmacy chains.
Now, only ashes and ruins remain.
This is russian terrorism. These criminals must pay.
Two killed and three injured by the Russian attack on Starokozache border control point between Ukraine and Moldova.
Russian drones hit the infrastructure and nearby territory of the control point. It is currently not functioning.
In Kyiv and the region, as well as in many other regions, efforts to deal with the aftermath of the Russian strike have been underway since last night. It was a complex attack that the Russians tried to plan to cause as much harm to life as possible – ballistic missiles, cruise and anti-ship missiles, and jet-powered “shaheds.” There is significant damage to residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure in the capital. As of now, ten people are known to have been injured. Everyone who needs medical assistance is receiving it. State Emergency Service personnel managed to rescue thirteen people. Tragically, two people were killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones.
In the Kyiv region, critical infrastructure was struck. In the Odesa region – an ordinary market. Two people were injured in Kharkiv. An apartment building was damaged. In the morning, the locomotive of the Kyiv–Sumy train was attacked at a railway station in the Sumy region. Fortunately, no one was injured. Evacuation is underway. Zaporizhzhia and the Dnipro region were also targeted.
Overall, our warriors downed 175 aerial targets overnight, but unfortunately, not all of them. Despite very good results against cruise missiles, ballistic missiles remain particularly difficult to intercept, and every day we make the case to our partners for our need for interceptors. We have already discussed this with the Americans and Europeans, and there will be more meetings, including today, with representatives of countries and companies that can help with supplies and with our anti-ballistic system – FREYJA. I thank all our partners who make support for Ukraine’s air defense a priority. This directly means saving lives.
❗Why is this NOT on the front pages of every paper in the world?
Why do the likes of @BBCWorld and @SkyNews not cover it??
They are KILLING US ALL.
Please dear god start reporting on it, it is genocide.
The moment of Russian ballistic missile attacks on Kyiv last night.
Russia continues attacking Ukrainian civilians and civilian infrastructure.
