My heart is bleeding today.

I am at Rurii Polling Centre in Ol Kalou, and I have just witnessed something I will never forget.

A sick elderly man insisted on voting before going back to the hospital.

He could not even afford transport.

His children & neighbors carried him to the polling station because he was too weak to walk.

After casting his vote, they are now carrying him back.

This level of commitment to democracy has deeply moved me.

The determination, sacrifice, and sense of civic duty I have witnessed here is overwhelming.

the worst thing about losing my cat is that i cant replace him. he wasn't a cat he was a little guy that was a person.. 'are you gonna get another cat' BUT HE WASNT SOME RANDOM CAT HE WAS MY BEST FRIEND

I just remembered how excited I was to stop using pencils and start writing with a pen in Primary 3. Funny how the smallest things felt like major milestones back then.
