I like the smell of skunk. I know I'm not alone alone, but I also recognize that it's unusual.
Somewhere along the way, we confused "unusual" with "freak."
I like the smell of skunk, and I'm okay with that. I know it's not normal, and I'm okay with that, too. I don't need you to pretend that skunk smells great for me to feel okay about myself.
I didn't choose to like the smell of skunk. It just happened that way.
When you smell skunk and want to vomit, I don't want to un-alive myself.

I believe there's a magic man in the sky with superpowers. I believe he occasionally lets people on earth borrow just a little bit of those superpowers. I believe I have witnessed and perhaps even used those superpowers myself.
If you think that's ludicrous, I don't blame you. It sounds ludicrous to me.

All we are asking is right to say somethings are ludicrous. Believe in the ludicrous, but don't lose your mind if I sit this one out. Whether or not I believe and play along, shouldn't have any impact on you and your wellbeing.
Would love to watch gold cup right now but those thieving piles of pickled pig shit at @fuboTV stole from me so I don't dare sign up for a month of programming
Took my son to the pediatrician. It's the same pediatrics group that he's seen his entire life.
They've "updated" their system AGAIN! Which just means I need to spend 30 minutes giving them his medical history AGAIN!
Well, I've had enough!
If the doctor who has seen him since the day he delivered him doesn't know my son's medical history, how the heck am I supposed to know?
So I just marked yes on every condition listed. Now, according to his chart, he has tuberculosis, Down's Syndrome, and Alzheimers. He's had and performed recent major surgery. Then, under "other," I wrote, "Stephen absorbed his evil twin (also named Stephen but pronounced like Jeffrey) AFTER they were born...3 years apart."
The doctor didn't mention any of it when he came into the room. Which just proves that they don't read that stuff. They're just deliberately wasting my time.
I've got the weirdest cramp in my toe. But it's not even one of the good toes. It's literally the least famous of the toes.
Why is the "ring finger" so famous but I can't remember a single instance of anybody ever talking about the 4th toe? ... except in "This little piggy...". - but even then, it's the piggy who "had none".
Meanwhile, his neighbor is cruising through life on "pinky-toe privilege" totally out of touch with the struggles that the ring-toe faces every day.
We need a march and a holiday and fundraisers to raise awareness of this very real issue.
@arthurwatkins I hate that he's tarnished his acting. He's a good actor, but when I see him in anything, I can't help but be distracted by his politics. That goes for several actors and athletes.
One of the most dangerous lies is the idea that anyone can do no wrong.
One of the most insidious combinations of lies, is the idea that victimhood gives anyone a stronger claim to morality and truth, and the idea that their prejudice and hate are thus socially just.
Just stop.
